My name is Julie McGovern. I am the owner of Your Wellbeing Collective for Women. I live in the northern suburbs of Brisbane with my husband and four children.
I am a body positive personal trainer and wellbeing coach who is passionate about helping women who are ready to let go of dieting and unrealistic body weight standards, and instead want to develop sustainable habits that will enable them to feel fit, strong, healthy and vibrant.
I am also a highly experienced and fully accredited counsellor with a warm, friendly and compassionate disposition. I provide a safe and supportive space for my clients to not feel so alone as they work through the issues that have brought them to counselling.
After struggling myself for many years with anxiety, depression, an eating disorder and self-loathing, I feel well equipped to provide women with the knowledge, strategies and support they need to become their healthiest and happiest selves.

To help fed up women who are done with dieting, body hatred and self-loathing, and are ready to embrace an intuitive style of eating, enjoyable movement, body peace, and self-acceptance.
There’s so much more to wellbeing than reaching and maintaining our body's natural set point weight and becoming fitter and healthier. Yes, it feels great to fit into our clothes comfortably, walk up stairs without feeling breathless, and eat nutritious foods BUT there are so many additional benefits that go way beyond these things.
